What it does

Big, legible speed at arm's length in daylight. Your route drawn as you ride. Every finished ride kept on the phone — so you can look back at it, or ride against it.

Speed that keeps up

A Kalman filter fuses GPS with the motion coprocessor, so the readout moves within about two seconds of setting off instead of waiting for a satellite fix — and returns to zero just as quickly when you stop.

The numbers that matter

Distance, moving time, elapsed time, average and maximum speed, and metres climbed. All live, all on one screen. Tap anywhere to swap the map for the full set.

Your route, drawn behind you

Apple Maps rendered greyscale, with a follow mode that hands control back on its own after you pan. In landscape the map fills the right half of the screen.

Ghost rides

Pick any saved ride with a recorded route and it replays alongside you on the map, so you can see whether you are ahead of the last time you rode it.

History that stays

Finished rides are kept on the phone, each with its route, full statistics, and a chart of speed and elevation over time.

Built for the handlebar

A strictly monochrome face — contrast alone carries the hierarchy, which is what keeps it readable in direct sun. Recording continues with the screen off.

Privacy

Your rides never leave your phone. Cyclotron has no account, no analytics, and no networking code at all. Location, motion and ride history are measured on the device, stored on the device, and are never uploaded anywhere.
